Coastal Sea Kayak Award
The Coastal Sea Kayak Award endorses your judgement, decision-making and expertise, and requires a good understanding of paddling on the sea. You should be confident planning and undertaking journeys in winds up to and including Force 4 and/or tides up to 2 knots, in tidal or non-tidal environments — with confidence built on both proficient skills and a broad appreciation of your surroundings and environmental context.
Your award is a sound basis for independently building the experience and expertise we associate with advanced sea kayakers. We deliver the course over three days in the stunning, forgiving waters of Koh Chang — and we are among the only providers of such qualifications in South East Asia.
